El 4 COM UNIT It allows both the user and the system integrator to establish from a remote place, a bidirectional communication with a KNX installation through missed calls, SMS messages, e-mails, GPRS connection and visualization. In addition, it has a powerful logic module, date/time to send to the bus and time switches. The entire configuration is made using the integrated web server.

    Executes NAT to an IP to, for example,load the visualization of an TCP/IP gateway or monitors the KNX bus via ETS (specially useful for diagnosis when the building work is being carried out).
  • Integrated web server: The device is equipped with a web server that encloses a configuration web page with all the necessary parameters for the commissioning of the module.
  • warnings and remote control of the installation via SMS:
    Every object can be configured separately from the rest as 'no function', 'warning', 'Action' or 'warning/Action'.

    no Function: Is the option to be choosen if you wish the object not to send any warning or to be modified by an SMS.

    Warning: Each reception of a telegram throught the KNX bus or a variable will create an SMS and/or an email that will be received in all the telephones and mails introduced in the agenda.

    Action: The object state can be modified sending an SMS message to the GPRS KoNeXion module.

    Warning/Action: The object will execute all the described warning and action functions.
  • Warning via email: The warnings created in the installation can also be sent via email.
  • Current state information about an object: Through an SMS, this module allows you to ask the installation which is the current state of an object.
  • Timed Actions: Together with the action sent via SMS you can add a period of time in minutes, so when this period has ended the state will be updated.
  • Agenda with 10 users and 3 groups: Allows 10 entries in the agenda and each one can be in any of the 3 groups of users. You can select which group will receive the warning or which group executes the action.
  • Logic functions: It can carry out logic, mathematical and comparative functions on group addresses, variables or values, the rest can be saved in variables and/or be sent to the bus via a group address.
  • Scenes module: When a variable or group address is received you can activate a sequence of actions.
  • Time programming: Time programming can be done on any type of data.
  • Delivery of date and time: Date and time can be sent to the bus automatically, in addition, it can be updated by means of Internet NTP servers.
  • Power supply failure: It can detect drops in the electrical supply and warn from it via SMS and/or email.
  • Object state recovery: It allows to recover the object state when the electrical supply returns after a drop.
  • Thermostat: It can carry out conversions between thermostat that work with bits and those that work with bytes.
  • Thermostat state recovery: It allows to recover the thermostat state when the bus returns.
  • Remote configuration: For the installer and basic parameters for the final user (Visu and time programming).

    DPT 1.0XX 1 bit. 0 or 1.
    DPT 5.001 1 byte without scaled sign. Range from 0 to 100.
    DPT 5.001 1 byte without sign. Range from 0 to 255.
    DPT 6.010 1 byte with sign. Range from -128 to 127.
    DPT 7.001 2 bytes without sign. Range from 0 to 65535.
    DPT 8.001 2 bytes with sign. Range from -32768 to 32767.
    DPT 9.0XX 2 bytes floating. Range from -671088.65 to 670761.0.
    DPT 12.001 4 bytes without sign. Range from 0 to 4294967295.
    DPT 13.001 4 bytes with sign. Range from -2147483648 and 2147483647.
    DPT 14.0XX 4 bytes floating. Range of floating point (IEEE 754).

4 LINE UNIT It’s a security device to avoid possible failures of bus power supplies. The device is able to monitor up to 4 bus lines. In case of one of them failing, the device uses its internal bus power supply or an external to in order to supply the line that has failed. Thus, the installation will never lack power supply.
